When children are exposed to ornithology they begin a wonderful journey into the world of research. The study of birds on a global level, how they behave, mate, reproduce, as well as their habitat, and human and climate impacts.

Gemology is the science of dealing with natural and artificial gems and gemstones. It is considered a geoscience and a branch of mineralogy. Some jewelers are trained gemologists and are qualified to identify and evaluate gems.

Teaching the love for photography to children at an early age will not only benefit them, but create a steward for the world. Spark exploration, and a never ending curiosity for the world around them.

The field of oceanography is traditionally divided into four major areas of research: physical, chemical, biological, and geological. Increased use of ocean resources has fostered new branches that deal with public policy, archaeology, conservation, and many environmental concerns.

Geology is the study of the physical features and history of Earth. Scientists who work in geology are called geologists.

Geology is an important science for many reasons. It answers questions about how Earth came to have its present shape and form. It is useful for finding important materials in Earth’s crust.

Children who fall in love with nature will live happier lives.

A biologist is a scientist who studies biology. Biologists try to understand the natural world and the things that live in it. Children learn about all sorts of biology subjects including the cell, animals, plants, the human body, genes, inheritance, diseases, and microorganisms.

For children in nature there's nothing cooler then exploring and finding things. The use of natural items they find outdoors are great for take home art and crafts projects. While at the same time they're learning to preserve, protect, save, defend, maintain and support the natural world. When a child experiences the success of protecting something endangered it becomes life altering.

Children engaged in Environmental science will benefit greatly. It being an interdisciplinary field that integrates physics, biology, and geography to the study of the environment, and the solution of environmental problems.

Children will benefit greatly, while at the same time have fun while collecting and compiling environmental data from samples of air, soil, water, food and other materials.

Children who fall in love with the study of Paleontology will forever be changed. It can act as they're own personal time-machine, teleporting them back to ancient life. The study of dinosaurs to prehistoric plants, mammals, fish, insects and even microbes. These little investigators will discover fossil evidence revealing how organisms changed over time and what our planet was like long ago.
